Growth Economy at the Anarchist Book Fair

Take a Plant, Leave a Plant at the Anarchist Book Fair.

By scavenging materials such as reused bottles and jars and plant cuttings, I will create a plant-based gift economy. A small army of plants will be amassed for distribution.

These plants will be offered up to the public during the Anarchist Book Fair on April 11th and 12th at Judson Memorial Church in Manhattan. (55 Washington Square South, New York, NY)
Audience participation is greatly encouraged, so that we can create a self-sustaining gift economy.

During the event, the community is invited to contribute plants; all sorts of plants, including seeds, seed bombs, babies (like spider plant babies), cuttings, potted plants, sprouts and seedlings. Ideally there would be a note explaining what kind of plant they are, and maybe some care instructions. However, any contribution is welcome.

I also seek donations of containers, which will hold water and donated plant cutting. I seek plastic and glass bottles and jars.

(I will post the times of the event as soon as they are confirmed with the event planning staff)
